Annual Reports

NCARB follows a fiscal year that begins in July 1 and ends on June 30 of the following year. The Board of Directors meets quarterly with additional meetings planned as necessary. Each year culminates with an Annual Business Meeting at the end of June, where our Member Boards vote on resolutions and elect officers.

When did NCARB begin?

In May 1919, during an American Institute of Architects (AIA) convention in Nashville, TN, 15 architects from 13 states came together to form an organization that would become the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). For more information, please read The History of NCARB.
