Six Steps to Certification:
-
-
Submit the $675 fee to NCARB through the online application (this includes the $175 certification fee).
-
NCARB will send you an e-mail with instructions and the tools required to verify your education and training. (NCARB will contact the jurisdiction(s) where you are registered for your status and examination grades.)
-
Complete your portion of the forms and forward them to your verification sources (schools, references, etc.) and they will return them directly to NCARB. You will also need to document your work experience using the electronic Employment Verification Reporting (e-EVR) system, which will be available to you after you start your NCARB Record.
-
When all requested information has been received, NCARB will evaluate your qualifications and let you know whether or not you meet the eligibility requirements.
-
If you have, NCARB will issue your Certificate.
Note: If you’ve already established an NCARB Record, simply log on to your online Record and select the Annual Renewal option. This will automatically put you into the certification process and charge the applicable fees.
