NCARB is pleased to announce the 2012 NCARB Award for the Integration of Practice and Education. A total of $75,000 will be available in 2012 for up to three Awards.
The NCARB Award supports the efforts of architecture programs to create and imple¬ment new, for-credit curricular approaches that raise awareness about issues central to practice, such as the architect’s responsibility for public health, safety, and welfare. The Awards are intended to address specific areas in which the academy can bridge the gap between education and practice and better prepare students for internships and future careers as architects.
Submission Deadline: Tuesday, 2 October 2012, 5 p.m. EDT
NCARB Award recipients will be announced in November 2012.
