NCARB Announces Price Increase for Monograph Series

The National Council of Architectural Registration Boards will increase prices for its monograph series beginning January 1, 2001. The following monograph titles will be individually priced at $125 for Record holders and $195 for non-Record holders: Fire Safety in Buildings, Low-Slope Roofing I, Professional Conduct, Seismic Mitigation, and Subsurface Conditions. The Wind Forces monograph may be purchased by Record holders for $175 and by non-Record holders for $255. (Please note that the Wind Forces monograph and quiz no longer will be sold separately.)

NCARB’s Professional Development Program oversees the monograph series in order to provide a convenient and useful continuing education resource for practicing architects. All U.S. jurisdictions accept NCARB monographs for compliance with state professional developement requirements.

The successful completion of the quiz that accompanies each monograph, excluding Wind Forces, equals 10 professional development units in Health, Safety, and Welfare and 10 AIA Learning Units; successful completion of the Wind Forces quiz equals 14 professional development units in Health, Safety, and Welfare and 14 AIA Learning Units.
