In a continued effort to engage the international community, NCARB hosted representatives from Shanghai Tongji Urban Planning & Design Institute (TJUPDI) of Tongji University at our headquarters in Washington, DC, last week.
“It was an honor to host the group of architects and planners from the Tongji Institute and help them understand the standards for licensure developed by the Council and embraced by our Member Boards," says NCARB Senior Architect Stephen Nutt, AIA, NCARB, CAE.
The visit came shortly after announcing that ARE candidates will be able to test at Prometric sites in London, Hong Kong, and Abu Dhabi beginning this fall.
TJUPDI is one of the first domestic institutes acquiring National Grade “A” Qualification Certificate of Urban Planning, Urban Design and Tourism Planning.
