ARE practice programs service technical issues

In light of the technical difficulties you experienced this month with the ARE practice programs service, we are adding three free months of service for all subscribers.

Helping interns become architects is a commitment that we take seriously at NCARB. We continuously innovate and seek ways to offer value to our intern community and help you navigate the path to your architectural license. Last April, we launched a new service that allows anyone to access the ARE practice programs, including users on Macs or 64-bit Windows machines.

Starting 30 October 2013, we made changes to the cloud-based service to provide technical benefits and easier overall access to our subscribers. Unfortunately, these changes resulted in service interruptions and frustrations for you.

We've heard you and are working diligently with our vendor on a reliable solution. At this time, the technical issues have been resolved and the system is fully operational. In the event that you encounter any technical issues in launching this through the cloud-based service, you can still access the practice programs service through the Remote Desktop, just as you could prior to October 30. Instructions are located on the practice programs access page in My NCARB.
