On June 29, 2016, the IDP will be updated to reflect six broad areas of current architectural practice—and renamed the Architectural Experience Program (AXP). Here’s what you need to know to prepare for the upcoming changes.

The new IDP Experience Calculator can help you determine how your hours will transition from the program’s current 17 areas into the six new experience areas so you can plan how you'll earn your experience hours going forward.

IDP Update: Interns Can Soon Earn IDP Credit for Experience Beyond Six Months (June 2014)
NCARB has approved a significant modification to its reporting requirement known as the "six-month rule" for credit in the IDP, which will go into effect 1 July 2014.
