Supervisor e-News: AXP Launches June 29, 2016 (April 2016)
On June 29, 2016, the Intern Development Program (IDP) will be updated to reflect six broad areas of current architectural practice—and renamed the Architectural Experience Program (AXP).

IDP Supervisor e-News: The Important Work of IDP Auxiliary Coordinators (April 2013)
IDP coordinators exist to facilitate the flow of information to students and interns on the path to licensure. These individuals, who are often volunteers, usually provide the first introduction to the licensure process for students and interns.

In October 2010, NCARB introduced three new ways for interns to earn core credit to satisfy the IDP training requirement whether or not employed. One of those opportunities is through site visits with a mentor.
