The NCARB Award is intended to address specific areas in which the academy can bridge the gap between education and practice and better prepare students for experience opportunities and future careers as architects.

In considering projects for the NCARB Award, applicants are encouraged to study the following issues and publications. [more]
Project Outcomes and Evaluations
The NCARB Award requires that applicants articulate the outcomes they expect to result from the proposed project. Projects must demonstrate for-credit curricular approaches and must articulate the learning outcomes the project is intended to produce. [more]
Each NCARB Award will be for a one-year time period. Project development must begin in January and be finalized in time for the class/seminar/studio to be offered no later than the fall term. [more]
