By passing an online quiz, you will receive your “certificate of completion” immediately after your results are tabulated. Should you not pass the monograph quiz the first time around, you will receive one free retest. NCARB will also directly report passing scores to the AIA at no additional cost. The NCARB monograph series was created in 1993 in order to address the increasing need for continuing education and professional development verification. Fire Safety in Buildings, the fourth title in the series, is currently being revised and updated, and will be available in early 2003. Future monographs will explore topics including building performance, crime prevention in the context of design, building security, the building envelope, smart growth, and interior architecture.
