Counselors and Educators 

The guide for counselors and educators is a resource for anyone guiding students toward a career in architecture. The booklet includes: 

  • Various resources and activities for elementary, middle school, and high school students who might be interested in architecture 
  • Information about recommended academic preparation, plus the different types of architecture degrees 
  • Links to events, scholarships, and summer camps (many of which are free) for students to gain hands-on experience in architecture-related fields

Both booklets were developed by six key organizations that play vital roles in the architecture profession. Collectively, each organization leads the profession and collaborates to support those looking to build a future in the field. The Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA), The American Institute of Architects (AIA), The American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS), The National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB), The National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), and The National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA).
