In October, NCARB invited 12 aspiring architects from across the country to participate in the fourth annual Intern Think Tank. Over two days, they discussed several topics, including changes to the licensure process, a new name for the Intern Development Program (IDP) and think tank, new tools to help architects at all stages of their careers, and how to add benefits to the NCARB Certificate. We also asked them:
Why do you want to be an architect?
Why did you apply for the Intern Think Tank?
Why is licensure important to you?
Many of our previous Intern Think Tank members have gotten licensed and continue to volunteer their time. You can read about some of their stories through our Architect Spotlight series:
We look forward to seeing what’s next for this year’s members!
