Apply for NCARB’s 2021 Think Tank and Re-Think Tank

Are you passionate about shaping the future of architecture? As a member of NCARB’s community, you’re invited to apply for one of two volunteer groups: the Think Tank for licensure candidates or Re-Think Tank for recently licensed architects.

About the Think Tank and Re-Think Tank

For nearly a decade, NCARB has invited emerging professionals from around the country to share feedback on licensure programs, brainstorm areas for improvement, and engage with NCARB leadership. Many alumni members go on to volunteer for our standing committees, task forces, and even state licensing boards.

Focus Areas

Through a series of virtual (and hopefully in-person) meetings, you’ll have the opportunity to explore COVID-19’s impact on the field, the launch of online testing, and strengthening equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts, among other complex topics.

Application Process

Before starting your application, please review the qualifications and meeting dates below. Applications will be open until April 22, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. ET. After requesting an application, you will receive a personalized email from Lineup, our volunteer management system. Submissions are anonymously reviewed by past Think Tank and Re-Think Tank members. Space is very limited, and selected applicants will be notified in late May.
