Top 15 Sustainable Architecture Firms

It’s Earth Day—a chance for us all to reflect on what we can do to help protect and sustain the planet we share. Looking for simple ways to reduce your ecological footprint? There are a number of easy steps you can take—many of which don’t cost a dime, and can be done right in your home.

Consider unplugging your electronics when not in use. Lower the shades during the summer for more efficient air conditioning. Pack reusable containers for lunch rather than brown bags. Run your dishwasher only when full. The list of green tips goes on and on.

The architect community has the opportunity to make a much broader, more lasting impact on the environment by incorporating strategies for sustainable design into their work. With that in mind, we’d like to acknowledge those firms who have proven their commitment to the cause of conservation.
