The process of becoming an architect takes hard work, dedication, and time—over 12 years! NCARB believes ensuring that candidates develop essential knowledge and skills through the licensure process is a crucial part of protecting the public, but we also believe in reducing unnecessary barriers to practice.
That’s why we’re teaming up with the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) to improve support for emerging professionals in the architecture field. Our first step is to better understand the factors that contribute to the performance and overall experience of licensure candidates, and we need your help.
If you are currently on the path to licensure, stopped pursuing an architecture license, or recently became an architect, we believe your feedback will be a valuable addition to our research. Help us more effectively address the challenges faced by emerging professionals in our community by taking 10 minutes to complete a brief survey.
Your responses will help us explore the challenges and opportunities facing the future of our profession, and will provide essential insight as we develop new resources and address pinch points in the architecture field.
