From updating each of the six experience area descriptions to launching a new experience reporting policy, NCARB is making several changes to the Architectural Experience Program® (AXP®). Designed to address common administrative impediments faced by candidates on the path to licensure and align the programs with the NCARB Competency Standard for Architects, these changes will go into effect November 18, 2025.
To ensure you understand what’s changing—and what’s not—we recently hosted a live webinar led by NCARB experts.
During the webinar, NCARB’s Asst. Vice President of Programs Michelle Cohn, AIA, NCARB, PMP, ICE-CCP, and NCARB’s Experience Committee Chair Gabriella Bermea, AIA, NCARB, NOMA, provided an overview of these updates and how they will impact licensure candidates. Our experts also answered audience questions in a live Q&A session so licensure candidates can navigate the upcoming changes with confidence.
