Minneapolis, MN—The National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) introduced its FY27 Board of Directors at the organization’s 2026 Annual Business Meeting in Minneapolis. NCARB’s Board of Directors is made up of volunteers from around the country, elected annually by the organization’s members, who are the 55 U.S. architectural licensing boards.

Eligibility for service on the Board of Directors for most positions is limited to those who have served on a licensing board, which requires an appointment by a governor or other elected entity. However, a recent governance change added two at-large seats with eligibility either by licensing board service or two years of committee service.
