Most of the 55 U.S. jurisdictions and all 9 South African provinces are participants in the 2026 the NCARB-SACAP Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA).  

All applicants are encouraged to contact their licensing board to confirm MRA participation and any additional licensing requirements prior to applying. The following U.S. jurisdictions are participants in the Mutual Recognition Agreement between NCARB and SACAP:
