Welcome back to NCARB! For the next 60 days, take advantage of an exclusive opportunity to advance your career.

As you already know, an active NCARB Record is essential to the path of licensure—as most licensing boards require access to an applicant’s NCARB Record to evaluate their licensure qualifications. Plus, the NCARB Certificate reduces barriers to reciprocal licensure across the United States and internationally.

To help make sure our programs and services are accessible for all candidates, from now through June 30, we are waiving reactivation fees for anyone who has let their NCARB Record and/or Certificate lapse, as well as the application fee for the NCARB Certificate.

The Value of the NCARB Certificate and Record

Certificate holders can take advantage of NCARB’s recently signed a mutual recognition agreement with the United Kingdom, as well as additional benefits exclusively for Certificate holders, including reciprocity in all 55 U.S. jurisdictions, free access to NCARB’s library of continuing education courses, and the use of the “NCARB” credential after their name. Join 50,000 of your peers and reactivate your Certificate today!

Licensure candidates who reactivate can access NCARB’s free Architect Registration Examination® (ARE®) practice exams to prep for each of the six exam divisions and may have the opportunity for previously expired exam divisions to be reinstated under the new score validity policy that has replaced the rolling clock policy. NCARB also offers English as a second language (ESL) accommodations and other accommodations in accordance with The American Disabilities Act (ADA) for the ARE if needed.

Reactivation Fees Are Waived

We are now offering inactive Certificate holders savings of up to $1,235 to renew their Certificate and offering non-certified architects savings of up to $1,235 in reactivation fees and an additional $1,210 in certification application fees. Licensure candidates can save up to $100 in reactivation fees—ideal for inactive candidates who may have previously expired divisions reinstated under the new ARE score validity policy.

This limited offer expires on June 30, 2023! Take advantage of this rare opportunity to reactivate your NCARB status at a discount by logging into My NCARB any time between now and June 30, 2023. Find more information about this limited-time offer on our Welcome Back page!
