Olivia N. Davis, CPA, DBA, of Lexington, Kentucky, is NCARB’s FY27 public director. Davis was appointed to the Kentucky Board of Architects in 2021, serving terms as public member and treasurer. Since 2022, she has volunteered on NCARB’s Licensure Process Research & Development Task Force. Closer to home, Davis is president of the Lexington Children’s Museum board and chair of the Fund for Greater Lexington board.
As a certified public accountant (CPA), Davis has nearly 15 years of auditing and assurance experience. She served on the Kentucky Society of CPAs board, including a term as chair from 2024-2025.
Davis is now an assistant clinical professor at the University of Kentucky, where she earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting. She also has a Doctor of Business Administration from DePaul University. Davis has received a number of awards for teaching excellence, including Gatton College Faculty of the Year in 2021 and the University of Kentucky’s Great Teacher Award in 2022.
