Nathan Grabowski, Assistant Vice President, Strategic Operations, joined NCARB in August of 2022. In January 2024, Nathan oversaw the transition of the Innovation team into Continuous Improvement department. Nathan and his team are responsible for facilitating collective efforts for strategic alignment and delivery across the Council and continuously improving operational planning, collaboration, and efficiency.
Prior to NCARB, Nathan gained over 12 years of operations experience with eight years of senior level management in the defense sector, where he helped lead a nonprofit contract laboratory that serves the National Capital Region in protecting the health, safety, and welfare of the public. There, he gained experience in process improvement, EHS/Safety, customer service, and quality management systems. Nathan graduated from Virginia Tech in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences. He is also accredited with PMP, Lean Six Sigma, CSM, CSPO, and Google Data Analytics certifications, as well as a Harvard Business School Online Certification for "Disruptive Strategy."
